The Islamabad Capital Territory Charities Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act, 2021
The Islamabad Capital Territory Charities Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act, 2021 was enacted to regulate the registration, regulation and facilitation of charities in the Islamabad Capital Territory. Under the Islamabad Capital Territory Charities Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act, 2021, there shall be established a body to be known as Charities registration authority which shall be headed and administered by a director to perform such functions as to register, regulate, monitor and control charities, to promote philanthropic, public welfare and charitable activities and to ensure purposeful use of resources coming to charities etc. The Islamabad Capital Territory Charities Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act, 2021 makes the registration for the purposes of establishment of a charity mandatory and prescribes the procedure for this registration.
