The Colonization of Government L and (Punjab) Act, 1912
This Act may be called the Colonization of Governments L ands (Punjab) Act, 1912 and is enacted to make better provision for the Colonization and Administration of Government L ands in the Punjab. It extends to the whole of the Province of the Punjab except the tribal areas. The Government Tenants (Punjab) Act, 1893 is repealed by this Act. Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Punjab L and Revenue Act, 1967 and Chapter VII of the Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887 or the corresponding provisions of any other law relating to tenancy shall apply to all proceedings under this Act. The Provincial Government may at any time by notification in the official Gazette withdraw a colony or any part of a colony from the operation of all or any of the provisions of this Act.
