West Pakistan Family Courts Act, 1964
The West Pakistan Family Courts Act,1964 was enacted on 18th July 1964 to provide the provisions for establishment of family courts, to expedite the settlement and disposal of disputes relating to marriage, family affairs and matters related therewith. According to the provisions of this Act, party shall include any person whose presence as such is considered necessary for a proper decision of the dispute and whom the Family Court adds as a party to such dispute.
