The Punjab Civil Courts Ordinance, 1962
The Punjab Civil Courts Ordinance,1962 is an ordinance that was promulgated on 8th January 1962 to amend and consolidate the law relating to the Civil Courts in the Province of Punjab. According to the C.P.C (Civil Procedure Code) a Civil Court can try every matter of civil nature unless barred by the law. Under Punjab Civil Courts Ordinance,1962, the term Small Cause means a suit or claim cognizable by a court established under the small claims and Minor Offences Court Ordinance,2002.
