The Ibadat International University Islamabad Act, 2021
The Ibadat International University Islamabad Act, 2021 was enacted for the establishment of the Ibadat International University Islamabad institute in the private sector for the promotion of educational services. Some major functions of the Ibadat International University include providing education, conferring and awarding degrees and providing career counselling and job search services to students and alumni etc. Under the Ibadat International University Islamabad Act, 2021, the institution shall be a corporate body consisting of the Patron, the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, the members Board of Governors, the members of Executive Committee, the Rector, the Deans and such other officers as may be prescribed. The jurisdiction of the Ibadat International University, as stated by the Ibadat International University Islamabad Act, 2021, shall extend to the whole of Pakistan with its principal seat at Islamabad.
According to the Ibadat International University Islamabad Act, 2021, the Board of Directors shall be responsible for the Financial Viability of the University including effectiveness of its operations and their continuity. While the duty of general supervision over the university and smooth execution of all the affairs is assigned to the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee respectively. The Academic Council, on the other hand, shall be the principal academic body of the Ibadat International University.
