Punjab Procurement Rules, 2009
The Punjab Procurement Rules, 2009 were promulgated by Government of the Punjab in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Ordinance 2007. These rules shall apply to all procurements made by all procuring agencies of the Government of the Punjab whether within or outside the Punjab. The procuring agencies shall use open competitive bidding as the principal method of procurement for the procurement of goods, services and works. Procuring agencies shall allow all prospective bidders to participate in procuring procedure without regard to nationality. A procurement agency may use alternative methods of procurements under rule 42.
