Passports Act, 1974
The Passport Act was enacted to regulate departure from the entry into Pakistan and visit to foreign countries of citizens of Pakistan and to provide for matters ancillary thereto. The provisions of the law relating to passports extend to the whole of Pakistan. The term ‘passport’ has been defined in the act and includes the documents which authorize a person to travel form Pakistan, provided that the said document is valid and issued by a competent authority.
