Green International University Act, 2020
The Green International University Act 2020 was enacted on 4th June 2020 by the Punjab Provincial Assembly to provide provisions for the establishment of Green International University in the private sector and to provide for matters connected therewith and ancillary thereto. Under the Green International University Act a private university named as The Green International University must be established in Lahore. Whereas the University shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and shall, by the said name, sue and be sued. It lays under Section 3 that the University shall consist of the following: Patron, Chairperson and Members of the Board and Rector, Heads of the Departments and Dean, Members of an Authority, Teachers and Students at the University, and Officers and Members of the Staff of the University.
