This Customs Act, 1969 was enacted on 3rd March, 1969 to consolidate, amend the law relating the levy and collection of customs-duties on goods and other allied matters. Under the Customs Act the term ‘Goods’ mean all movable goods and include conveyance, stores and materials, baggage, and currency and negotiable instruments. This Act is extended to the whole of Pakistan. Under the Customs Act 1969, the Customs-Area means the limits of the customs-station specified under Section 10 and includes any area in which imported goods or goods for export are ordinarily kept before clearance by the customs authorities.
