Balochistan Charities (Registration, Regulation and Facilitation) Act, 2019
Balochistan Charities (Registration, Regulation and Facilitation) Act, 2019 was enacted to provide legal cover, substitute and to consolidate the laws for registration, regulation and facilitation of Charities in Balochistan. According to Balochistan Charities (Registration, Regulation and Facilitation) Act, 2019, the Government shall establish an authority to be known as “the Charities Registration Authority” headed by a Director General, which shall have such powers and functions as conferred on it by the Balochistan Charities (Registration, Regulation and Facilitation) Act, 2019 including the promotion of philanthropic, public welfare and charitable activities which are in accordance with law and international obligations aimed at ensuring safer charities and donations and to ensure purposeful use of resources coming to Charities through effective regulations, methods of administration etc.
Moreover, the Balochistan Charities (Registration, Regulation and Facilitation) Act, 2019 makes the registration for the purposes of establishment of a charity mandatory and prescribes the procedure for this registration.
